AXELOS announced ITIL® 4 (successor to ITIL v3) for March 2019. As the global standard for ITSM, the Tech Giant had to prepare key personnel and internal champions for the upgrade.
Ducis consultants (certified by Axelos) worked with the IT Service Practice to identify internal champions, train them, and equip them to cascade learning.
A multi-dimensional approach combined classroom training, online learning, and detailed content over Dec 2018–Feb 2019. Two Champions were trained and certified as ITIL 4 trainers to spread the light.
By Jan 2020, ~450 professionals achieved ITIL 4 Foundation certification. Champions enabled sustained internal capacity building for ITIL 4 adoption.
